The signature and the time anchor are not layers of the seal; they are applied to the completed seal root from outside. The synthetic sample package carries no separate timestamp; the time anchor is kept in the period archive.
AFTER THE PERIOD
Readers of the same evidence package after the period
After the period closes, the evidence package is opened by different readers. Under Regulation (EU) 2023/956, Art. 10(5), the verification report and calculation records are kept for 4 years after verification.
